Capability / Service Delivery Manager

Responsible for the leadership of multiple application development and support functions, leveraged across several platinum accounts: Rolls-Royce, BAE and Smart DCC. People management of multiple application support teams: HR governance, annual goal setting, performance management, financial planning and recruitment.

Ensuring capabilities work towards our service line and wider organisational goals — achieving availability, service SLAs, reducing outages and optimising IT solutions through continuous service improvement; and working with account management to ensure key production environment (KPE) systems are well understood and availability compromises are handled optimally, avoiding associated penalties.

Application Support Team Lead

DXC Technology · 2017 – 2022

Team Lead for the 2nd/3rd line Wintel application support team on the Rolls-Royce account. Achieved 100% SLA compliance on over 1,500 incidents across 47 global applications, and managed the roll-out and patching of multiple large-scale applications across the Rolls-Royce estate. ITIL Foundation v3 certified, with extensive knowledge of incident, problem, change and transition management.

Application Support Engineer

Support of Wintel and UNIX based applications, focused on Siemens' Manufacturing Execution System (SIMATIC IT) and the bespoke UNIX application PS2000. Heavily involved in supporting key Rolls-Royce shop-floor applications including IBM Maximo, Cognos, CDM LifeWeb, FAST Search, RR Intranet, SharePoint and RCI, hosted across Windows Server 2003–2012 estates.
